3. Unpredictable income:

The income or the pay scale that the person receives on a one-month basis is hard to predict for the person as it may be a newly established business or no orders to be produced at that moment.

The same can even arise when the person is looking out for a job and if a month goes by and he remains jobless then he receives no income for that particular month.

So it can be said that a person who wishes to practice the art of fashion may not have fixed financial stability.

4. Effect of Criticisms:

When a career such as fashion designing arises as it is a sole job, criticisms also go hand in hand with it.

If the product that has been made by the individual is not up to the standard mark as required, the criticism received on it is very harsh at times.

And at times if the mistake is of the individual then owing up to the criticism can be very difficult which leads to distress

This mainly does not mean that when one builds their reputation in the fashion industry it’s a con but the road taken towards is very difficult and full of obstacles.

Every person needs to go through different kinds of hardships while practicing the art of fashion designing and prove to everyone how good you are which helps in building the reputation for now and the future.

6. Difficult customers:

At times the terms and conditions which they put forth are difficult and impossible to come into agreement with.

They may ask for a large order to be made and delivered in a short amount of time and if the business is newly established with less manpower it will be very difficult to complete the order before the deadline given.

7. Updating the knowledge:

The individual should always realize that the fashion industry is a growing industry and the trends in fashion keeps on growing as the days go by.

So if the person doesn’t stay updated and keep learning about the improving trends in the world of fashion ongoing currently, they will lack behind the other companies thus leading to loss in the business and a stop in the growth and reputation building of the individual and his business.

8. Adjusting the daily tasks:

The schedule of a fashion designer is at times maintained as to how the daily tasks have to be carried out.

But at times when certain clients arrive to get an order done by the person the entire schedule of the individual gets disrupted as all of the tasks have to be re-scheduled in order to accommodate the additional task which has to be included in the daily schedule disrupting the harmony compared to all other days.

9. Competition:

In the ever-growing world of fashion designing as there is a demand for new and more effective products there will always be competition among different brands in order to sell more products.

So with the level of competitiveness increasing day by day there will always be a new brand developing which can offer additional services in comparison to the other brands which leads to the increase in the level of competition.

10. Copying the fashion brand:

When a person who is practicing in the world of fashion designing comes up with a new and innovative product that hasn’t been yet launched in the market, he needs to have a patent on that particular product so that no one can copy the same production using a different brand name.

If the person fails in doing it will result him in losing most of his business as his products won’t be sold and a copy of the product might be preferred instead of the genuine product itself.
